GREENLAND
Thule District (Northwest Greenland).We have been working regularly in this area for over 29 years and have photographed the complete cycle of traditional Inuit life through all the seasons of the year. Our in depth coverage includes: Inuit in traditional fur clothing. Igloo building. Polar Bear, Walrus, Whale and Seal hunting. Netting birds and Fishing. Huskies & dog-sled travel. Kayaks. Women making skin clothing & sewing sealskins onto a kayak frame. Traditional foods. Inuit children, at school and at play. |
We also have photographs of modern life in the district's communities, Inuit watching T.Vs., using computers. Helicopter, aeroplane and motor boat travel.
